"Mountain Goat at Mount Rushmore. They are not really goats, but antelopes. They are not native of this area: the first ones were brought to nearby Custer State Park from their Rocky Mountain ranges in 1924. They quickly escaped their captivity. They are now a common view around Mount Rushmore, with a population of 200-300"
